Website + Giveaway
After a long time of announcing and never materializing, I have the pleasure of finally announcing that the website is LIVE. www.haven-comic.com Easy to remember, and easy to follow. I am pleased to announce there are no ads, and there never will be! Therefore, the website isn't trying to gather data on you either! The website will always have more content than other platforms. In fact, any chapter that is started on other platforms will be fully available on the website. In addition, the website will have a subscription that allows you access to pages as I finish them, and additional artwork, for a low price of £5. (This function will require some data-gathering, but on my end that's essentially your e-mail, and then Stripe gets everything else because... payment systems.) This means that currently, you can access the entirety of Chapter 2 on my website, and purchase the right to view Chapter 3, which is being updated weekly. Chapters will become available on the website once they
News for Haven: Restart
TL;DR - I'm restarting the comic, with the goal of making it shorter and better. Bullet points: :bulletyellow: Goal is to shorten the project significantly. My new outline is over 50% shorter. :bulletyellow: Characters have been altered, some significantly, and while story foundation is the same, lots of details will change. :bulletyellow: Overall, story should go somewhere much faster. :bulletyellow: Less Soap Opera, more coherent narrative. :bulletyellow: A little bit of waiting on your part for the restart. Sorry! Long Version: I have made the decision to restart Haven: Revery of the Fallen. The main reason is to make it shorter and more compact, which will ultimately mean that you are getting more, faster. At the pace I was going, I was going to take many, many years to finish the story, and that was partially because the story was intended to be almost like a soap opera, where many characters were fighting for your attention. I know you may have gotten
Altered Upload Schedule Details
TL;DR: I will be uploading Monday/Thursday/Saturday for a total of 3 updates per week, starting next week, in an attempt to make my work more sustainable and manageable in the future. Long form: I love doing Comics. I've been working on the comic for about a year now, including planning etc, and my pace has definitely picked up from the early days. Since about October, when I started my comic, I've been fuelled by passion and drive. That being said, I can tell that things have been taking a toll on me. Keeping up with 4 updates a week, and oftentimes surpassing that, has physically strained me, and while I'm doing my best to negate things, there's also factors of stress and similar rather annoying things. Now, that doesn't mean I want to slow down significantly. No, this is my passion. But I need to lessen the stress I put on myself. I went on a holiday and ended up working through most of it. I feel anxious and worried when I take a break for even a few hours which I could be
HAVEN is too dark - I'm fixing it.
Slowly. So, recently I got my comic printed, and I noticed immediately that the images were incredibly dark. Some panels were really hard to make out, and generally it was just not up to standards. I'd always known that my screen was a bit brighter than most others, but boy, did I not realize the extent of the problem. So, I'm aiming to fix the issue. But slowly. I'm gonna have to go through every page and edit some of the values, on a screen that is still too bright. I'm gonna be trying my best, slowly, as I'm also still working on actually progressing with the comic, so bear with me as I try to edit stuff. So far, the cover and prologue have been edited. If it so happens to please or displease you, let me know!

Okay, deadline's been reached and all entries are there.
I'm sorry for being late (had things on my mind), but I'll be announcing the results soon. <3 Thank you to all that participated!
Check out the Contest Entry folder in my favourites ;D
Now, we're not doing a livestream. No.
I'm officially hosting a CONTEST.
Remember Dream Mist? In part 26, it was said that there was no success in visualising Pokemon's dreams… Now, what if you could see? What if you could look into the dreams of the Pokemon?
Illustrate or write out your version of a Pokemon's dream!
Basically: Think of a dream of a Pokemon within IBAW-Verse. Any team Pokemon and even dead Pokemon are allowed. Written entries are allowed.
A list of valid Pokemon: Champ, Pichie, Suchi, Nuria, Boffet, Veera, Naub, Divec Meya, Leon, Jo - but any others are also fine. As long as it's a Pokemon that specifically appeared in IBAW.
I actually don't want too much crack. Try and be serious. Creativity is fine, but stay true to the spirit of the comic.
Criteria:
Creativity. This one's real big.
The amount of thought put into the piece.
The amount of effort put into the piece.
Also, to a certain extent, but not as much as the others, the overall skill.
Also, knowing the comic and the canon well is a plus. Very bad deviations from the canon will bring you minus points.
How to Submit
That's easy.
Just send me a NOTE with a LINK of your drawing/writing, saying it's for the contest. (Don't just put the writing in the Note. At least make it a journal entry, if not a deviation, because you technically should be proud of it.)
If you're not on DA, but on the Nuzlocke Forums - send me a Personal Message. In this case, I'll make an exception and you'll be able to include your entry right in the Message. C: If you do have an external link, that'd be great in order to properly showcase your work.
ONE entry in both writing and drawing. So you CAN submit BOTH, but not two drawings or two written pieces.
Deadline: 23rd of June.
I'll go by YOUR clock, so if it's still technically the 23rd of June by YOUR country and time zone, it's a valid entry.
Judges
Myself, aided by my ever faithful Corbillat and laquaza. I might take one or two other judges (you may apply for it in the comment section), but the criterium is that I know (or you can prove) that you know a lot about IBAW.
Prizes
Depending on the amount of entries, I might seperate Literature and drawings.
The Winner will get a choice between a A5 traditional artwork of their choice, sent to their house upon completion (by snail mail, of course),
OR a digital artwork of similar dimensions, on a topic of their choice, which unfortunately I cannot really send,
OR a larger collaboration art piece, given they're an artist (simply because I can't really collab-write that well).
If there are enough entries, I'm also giving away small digital commissions in this style for the second and third places:
Oh, and… of course I'll feature you if you win. C: That's a given. And I'll give out honourable mentions either way.
… soo… what you waiting for? :'D
