I like how you didn't completely bash Bianca's father.

Too often he's portrayed poorly for being too overprotective or being abusive, and even though those are other's interpretations of him sometimes you have to sit back and look at it from a parent's perspective. He teleported all the way there to make sure she was ALIVE and WELL. Also Elesa was right, so suddenly spring something like that on him, she just suddenly switched the topic of the conversation from going home to her sexuality. If that was suddenly dropped you'd be startled and fumble to recover too, wouldn't you?

I like how you portrayed the heat of the moment and how when you're angry you don't think straight, you throw out harsh words that are intended to cut the other person. Hit where you know will hurt. Even though her father said she wasn't welcome, I think later when he calms down he'll regret saying that because let's be honest, he came looking for her to make sure his only child, his little girl was okay.

Plus people aren't taking into account the fact he said her mother was hurt. We don't know if that's true or not, if he just said that to make her feel guilty or if her mother actually is hurt that Bianca would attempt such a thing, but if it IS true you have to look at it her her perspective too.

Also, the fact that: "He doesn't get that violent frequently." Indicates that he may be a temperamental person. (Although how does a bombing equal capability I have no idea, he jumped conclusions there too so he's also at fault) And the: "What kind of father are you?!" Ouch. That was a sick burn right there, intended to provoke. (I kind of freaked out when he grabbed her because when you're mad you can injure a person accidentally even if all you intended was to intimidate them)

Anyways, she is 17 and is legally an adult, but ultimately it seems like he just wants what's best for her, you know? Especially in this world you've created, he DOES have a point. Bianca is sensitive, naive, and has gone into denial quite a bit. Refusing to acknowledge her own short comings unlike White and Cheren. Where the former is continually questioning forming her own opinion about the world and the other stays introverted, a quiet person who holds their emotions inside, but he is aware of his flaws too and doesn't deny them.

So thank you for making their clash gray, and not black and white like others portray this encounter. Both brought up good points and both were at fault, but that's what happens in real life arguments doesn't it? You often end up hurting the ones closest to you the most.
