I note again that my only knowledge of the legal system anywhere has come from soap shows (!!!). I'm not sure about what actually goes down, but Soap shows tend to be… dramatic. So yeah, I might be doing things wrong. °__°" Or make it look very "unprofessional". However, considering common sense, I think it's reasonable what they're doing. Even if it might seem like overkill to you (at the moment).

I feel like I should have a lot of things to say about this…

Ah. Considering the question: "WHY ISN'T BIANCA WORRIED ABOUT WHITE AT ALL?!" that you're inevitably gonna ask…
It's a plot hole. Not a very relevant one, mind you, because it only affects this one scene. I admit it'd been much more elegant if Bianca ran after White, found her, and the two of them went to the police together. Just happens I didn't think of that before. :/
